CPU
CPU appeared in the era of large-scale integrated circuits. The iterative updates of processor architecture design and the continuous improvement of integrated circuit technology have led to its continuous development and improvement. From being originally used exclusively for mathematical calculations to being widely used in general-purpose computing, from 4-bit to 8-bit, 16-bit, 32-bit processors, and finally to 64-bit processors, from the incompatibility of various manufacturers to the emergence of different instruction set architecture specifications, CPU has been developing rapidly since its birth.
We have also continued to pay close attention to the development of the CPU industry, and our design team has been working hard in the industry for many years, trying to occupy a larger market share. This is not just about designing better PPA (Performance, Power, Area), but also about providing a better computing architecture in response to the demands of AI and IoT.
A CPU technology based on the MIPS instruction set, which has an advantage that its micro-architecture design is unique, and its performance, power consumption, and size specifications far exceed the existing 32-bit CPU cores in the industry. At the same time, the DSA (Domain Specific Architecture) extended for multimedia and artificial intelligence effectively supports applications such as multimedia and artificial intelligence.
As a rising star, RISC-V has attracted more and more attention from the industry. A CPU Core based on the RISC-V instruction set has shown great advantages in low power consumption, and is constantly optimizing the performance, power consumption, and area of the processor. In general, due to the team's accumulation of microarchitecture design and rich design experience, the CPU Core based on the RISC-V instruction set not only has a good PPA, but also has rich configurations and high security features.
